It has a generic name Minoxidil, which is used for hair loss treatment, especially of male pattern baldness. This drug is highly effective in people who are under the age of 40 years. This drug does not cure baldness but it can reduce the effect on thinning hairlines. Male pattern baldness, which is also called as Androgenic alopecia, is caused by androgen imbalance in the body. Important information about Mintop Lotion

Minoxidil comes in a liquid form which is to be applied on scalp for hair growth. It starts the functioning by shortening the telogen phase and causing premature entry of resting hair follicles into Anagen phase. It helps in prolonging the Anagen phase and inducing the increase in the size of hair follicles. It augments the viability of hair follicles.
