Description

Depin-5 MG

This drug has a generic name Nifedipine which belongs to a class of calcium channel blocker drug that dilates (relaxes and widens) blood vessels and making it easier for the heart to pump blood and lower down its workload. This medicine is basically prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). This drug may also be prescribed for other treatments which are not enlisted here.

It raises the level of coronary blood flow and results into reflex tachycardia. It effects a bit or negligible on cardiac conduction and rarely shows negative inotropic activities.
